In 2002, while vacationing with his family in the picturesque Solan District of Himachal Pradesh, Colonel Kapoor’s chance conversation with a local resident over tea and pakoras, led him to exploring land for sale.
After all he had harboured the dream of building a soulful family retreat home for several years; and what better place than Devbhumi – “Land of the Gods”, as Himachal Pradesh is popularly known. The crisp, rejuvenating air of the valley, coupled with the endless blue skies gave Colonel Kapoor fresh impetus.
Multiple recces later, he came across an untouched piece of land amidst towering pine trees. After enjoying the tranquillity and healing energies of the land for several years, Col. Kapoor’s plans to build just a family holiday home, evolved into the vision called ‘The Whispering Pines’; a legacy being carried forward by his family.
